The term B-side comes from the time of the vinyl record. The vinyl record had two sides, usually called A and B. The first half of the album would be the A-side, the second half the B-side. So, an album B-side would simply be a track from the second half of the album.
But here...it's really just a song I feel like playing. You can hear my B-side song of the day each weekday around 9:40.
